"Drums of the North" is the first traditional Yup'ik album ever produced. It features Pamyua & high school students from the Alaska Native Heritage Center. Traditional Yup'ik singing and drumming is an ancient form of theatrical expression & storytelling from southwestern Alaska. Dancing makes you happy and makes you feel better with every movement. This tradition is alive & thriving with dances being composed every day.
