By Phyllis Adams Alaska Gingerbread Moose evolved when my grandson, Owen, and I began to ad lib after reading and telling other bedtime stories. It grew until Alaska Gingerbread Moose became our main story of the evening. We had great fun imagining the characters and developing new ideas. We used our own Alaska animals and Alaska's beautiful countryside for our story. Phyllis Adams is Alaska Native and a retired Anchorage School District teacher and grew up in Nenana, Alaska.
